Guild can be nice too!
My guild is progressing nicely in Naxx now, with just Thuzad to go. The last time we did MC we pretty much did it with our eyes closed as 3 fingers in our nose..
After we wiped off a **** pull in naxx, we were all fed up with it for abit and we decided we wanted to do something nice, just to feel better again.
We recently got a few new members, 2 for each class added to our guildroster, but with the high DKP the rest of us are on they didnt get anything yet. Thats in the guild policy tho, and everyone agrees on that.
However! that naxx wipe we decided to run MC and BWL, and all the lewt had to go to the youngsters. We cleared all of it in 1 day, with onyx on top as the cherry on the cake.
I swear i never seen such a happy bunch of people celebrating their first epics. They all got their share, and it looked like the newer they were to the guild, the more they got.
At first we were like yeh thats cool lets get back to naxx now, but now we are making it an annual thing. Also did this with my old guild that if a new member joins, he HAS to get an epic on his first run (if anything drops OC). One person got nefs head as his first lewt, just becus nothing dropped before that.
If u have a guild and u want to keep the spirit high from the start, its the way to go.
