With the gap between the damage of a DPS class and a tank moving even further apart I'm thinking of ditching my warrior for another class.

Tanking has been fun for ages, I don't want to brag but even in pugs, my tanking ability is generally enough to make even the worst group semi decent. When it comes to the new end game, I fancy a class that doesn't have to gimp them selves to compete with other members of the class.

Has any one else had thoughts like this? Which class is every one else getting ready to level to 70?

I have most classes at level 30 or above, I imagine that in the time left before the expansion is released I'll be able to finnish off any class and atleast get a few runs though MC, maybe even BWL thanks to my guild.

im not doing anything to prepare for TBC till it actually lands on my doormat.

Knowing blizzard it might still take ages, plus its rediculous cus noone really knows how its going to be or whats gonna happen. Also knowing blizz, theres going to be some sweet world event to really spicen it up

Collect 1,00000 thorium bars, 900000 thick hides and 1000000000000 cooked fish of random hard found sort. Happy grinding ;-)

Back to topic. Come TBC, I think they are making the damage vs health ratio lower, meaning more life, less damage, which actually will give PvE tanks some strength ;-) I read that somewhere. Also, I've also seen that they're opening for more hybrid builds in the new instances... Perhaps fury tanks will be more useful then ;-)

I'm rolling a priest next to my rogue and mage. Always wanted to play a healer so I guess I get one ready.

Got my Shaman at 60 so just waiting for TBC to come out to level him to 70.. Seeing the new Shaman stuff they put in I can't think of anything else I'd rather play O_o

I dunno, I've been seeing the gaps actually closing, not widening. But, I'm guessing that is just a difference of opinion, based on cunjecture and the very limited information about BC that even those in Alpha right now have, as the expansion is evolving.

Tanking has been fun for ages, I don't want to brag but even in pugs, my tanking ability is generally enough to make even the worst group semi decent. When it comes to the new end game, I fancy a class that doesn't have to gimp them selves to compete with other members of the class.

Not quite certain how to answer that, because I just don't see how you have reached that conclusion, especially as things in BC, like the new spells, abilities, and talents, are set in stone yet.

Has any one else had thoughts like this? Which class is every one else getting ready to level to 70?

All of them.

Do what you like, is the best advice I can give. If you like to play your warrior, then do. If you want to play another class, then do that. Nobody can make you play something you don't really want to play.

Hunter is the only class ive not tried in any depth, furthest ive got with one of those is about level 12.

So, Hunter it is, basically. Possibly Blood Elf, but probably Tauren.
