I've played since the first Beta. It's gotten to the point where I don't think even the expansion could save it for me. I've just overplayed it. The only reason I'm still playing is because my sister is playing. :/

Put everything in moderation, especially World of Warcraft. Tips from the WoW loading screen.
Here's something for you, tell your sister to not play so much, then you don't play so much. Or you control your gaming and she hopefully will, in turn, follow suit.
But if you do play everyday, but not for long hours like 5 to 12 hours a day, and you still put RL as priority, then I say you did not overplay.

Yeah, the expansion is really going to change a lot of fundamental things about the game. I suspect you'll be back to try it out.

Must resist... but can't... must try harder... temptation... overwhelming......
Can I have your stuff??
(Sorry, couldn't resist ;))
obviously, you're not balancing your wow playing out with wwn posting <3 that's how you keep things fresh and in perspective.

So true more posting on the forums is good for the game.
Also just don't play so much or just quit if you feel the game has reached the end of it.

Its easy really.
If you, when playing something that should be fun (raid, instance, questing, pvp whatever you do with your ingame time) feels boring go do something else in real life.
I play this game because I'm still having fun with it.
The day the whole thing becomes boring I've got loads of reallife projects that been ignored since I got addicted to wow that needs sorting ;).
that and it's up to you to find out how to amuse yourself.

I had to take a 3-4 month break and now I can't believe I went that long without my Warcrack! Having 2 daughters and a weefey def. slows it down, but not for long!
I made believe I didn't own the game for those few months. I deleted the shortcut off my desktop, stop paying and teased myself with just updating.

ah well if it makes you feel better, I took a 4 month long break. I came back a while back and have more fun now.
Edit:
I play less now so maybe moderation is the key!
