That's your answer. The server don't stay online all the time, there is maintenance.

maco
03-10-2006, 07:47 PM
so that is why there is a critical error? is that why it says send message of what you where doing while logging into WoW?

zkajan
03-10-2006, 07:48 PM
nope, the critical error is something else. and whenever there is an error you get the "send in a message" thing.

You can post in the official tech support forums over at Worldofwarcraft.com and see what the tech support people have to say.

If you bought the game and set up a new account yourself then you can email them to get the forum issue worked out. If you bought your account from someone else, then I'm afraid its Caveat Emptor and you may be SOL.

Are you by chance running out of hard disk space?

djiss
03-10-2006, 08:29 PM
I don't remember the number and I'm at job so... just look in your booklet/box or on the website.

Critical error can have many source. Bad sector on the hard drive when the game need to read, some memory space in you ram is burned, your video card, your sound card, maybe some wow files are corrupted.... many source.
Also your message say not enough space, maybe your hardrive is full.

BTW, I see the icon from microsoft in your system tray, who say you maybe have a pirated version of Windows. It's not related at all with your WoW problem, but you should check it out before having some more problem with Microsoft.

Maco I am having the same issue as you same error and all, I also have been getting the pirated version message from Microsoft. Which boggles my mind since I buy my software directly from work. And I doubt my company would shaft in me in some software. Or.....it could be you being from Khadgar and having a 60 horrible looking cow warrior, troll rogue :D

Can we see the picture of the puppy without the big box in the way?

pleeeeese??

You can clean out hard disk space by uninstalling programs and games you no longer use.

You can also to a compression and defragmentation of existing files by opening "My Computer" then right clicky-ing on your C:drive and selecting properties. This pulls up a little pie chart that shows free space and offers a disk cleanup option. Do the disk clean up, you can do compression and then after that run a defrag and that should help.

I try to remember to do that once a month or so but that may be overkill.

Awww!!!! Flufferpuppers!!!

:-) very cute!

Can't tell where Cally's face is but I am sure she is adorable.

You also have a very clean desktop ... I would be embarassed to show mine as messy as it is.

Oh, after you do a clean up (tick all the boxes except system files ... or something ... you can click on the file names in the clean up box to get a description of what they are and you can tick all the ones that say safe) you can click on the tools tab in the properties box and then defragmentation - analyze then defrag (I like to write down my original free disk space number before starting all this and then see the big change afterwards ... odd sense of accomplishment)

compressed and internet files absolutely - also do your recycle bin and temp files. If you click on the names of each one it will give you a description of what they are - the ones that say "safe" are the ones you want. I do all of them except the "set up log files" on my system

 you think that takes long? wait till you get to defragment it after!

You may clean up enough space to play for now and then just defrag it when you toddle off to bed tonight

I'm guessing this is b/c you do editing of some sort?

I'm an Account Manager and an Alternate Broadcast Designer here in FLA.

If so, and you use Avid or Final Cut or even AfterEffects, dump those old render files! lol

If not, nvm lol

I have a similar situation, except that my hard drives aren't full. And they are distributed between 3 systems integrated on my home network.
