Hi, Looking to come back to warcrack.
Heres what i need from a server.
1. NEW server! I dont want fully decked out, older, epic geared server. The newer the better!
2. PVP
3. Decent horde team
4. Preferably has some EST guilds on it, but if its new this wont matter much i guess.
If any of you know of a website to see when servers went live so I could find the newest pvp servers that would be totally sweet.

get to the server list in the game and choose one of the (Recommended) servers that's a PvP server. make a horde char, and check what time it is. if it's EST then chances are there is EST guilds on it. run him to the nearest capital city and ask any questions you may have in /1. then if you like what you hear make your actual char. if not, try another server.

The recommended servers have transfer guilds on them already for the most part.
Scilla is recomended and it is loaded with epiced out folks on both sides - mainly alliance. They are Nef guilds+ when original server folks were just starting MC. There were people on bug mounts killing people at the opening of AQ.
:-) best thing to do is look at them all and see which one seems the LEAST filled with morons. Don't do it on a patch day or when other servers are down though because you are guaranteed a crapload of idiots on those days.
Last week I was running down from Org and saw about 8 lvl 2-4's camped in the horde outpost at the start of the barrens. They just wanted to spam the chat with idiocy while thier servers were down.

Hmmm interesting points.
So this could complicate things a little, how do i knwo which server would be best to start on?
I mean if you were rerolling and wanted to start on a fresh server with the least amount of epiced out guilds, how would you go about doing it?

I would probably make lvl 1 alts on a few of the servers that say New or Low for population then start doing /who 50-60 and see how many people popped up. If 49 or more names came up I would do a /who 55-60 then delete that guy and make one of the opposing faction and do the same.
If you do this at peak times for all the servers you are interested in it should give some ideas. You can also run to Org or IF and look at the people standing in front of the banks to see gear status or try /who Molten Core /who Blackwing etc etc see if people are in there or not at that moment.
If you really want to get scientific about it I would say do this over the course of a week - make a spreadsheet and record your same data each night for each server then analyze it to see what trends you like or don't like.
With transfers you won't find a pristine PVP server ... too many bullies play on PVP and there is nothing more fun that squashing people in greens while you are pure purple. At least that is the impression I get from my viewpoint underneath the Dragonstalker boots.

Or you could just find a very new server, much less than 3 months old, which is when the transfer window appears.
The Forgotten Coast and Anub'arak are two EST/PVP servers that opened in August.
Transfert to new server at elligible after 6 months of the server release. At least on the US server, not sure for the EU

So last night I'm sitting at home and thinking about the whole choosing a server thing and I came up wiht an especially great way (I think) to check.
So here it is:
First go here and look at a server with Med-Low player population:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/realmstatus/
Now you could stop here but . . . if you're going w/a PvP realm check this next:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/
This way you can check the actual number of players with PvP ranks (you can check both factions-to check for balance
That last link is better with PvP b/c of the non PvP players on other realms that wouldn't show up on the PvP ranks - but the population ranks would obviously be true.
Hope this helps! I'm checking into it today . . .
