I seem to remember hearing that Blizzard might scrap Battlegrounds and the whole Elitest PvP system for certain Realms. I don't know about you but if they made a PvP (preferably PvP-RP) realm that had no PvP gear/rep/battleground system I'd be in it in a flash. Not only would it filter out the Elitest 24/7 Super Geeks but it would also bring back that sense of Warcraft that, in my opinion, was totally destroyed by Battlegrounds and all that malarkey.

Those were the days anyway, when everyone had a mix of equipment and went into battle (world PvP) on even ground. I'm sure a realm like this would be popular.

I'm probably mistaken but I thought I should ask anyway to make sure.

they will not scrap bg's

they are getting rid of the competitive ladder system for the bg's though and doing accumulated honor trade ins for gear.


arena is gonna be the new ladder from what i understand, but that is gonna only be for 70's.

Does that mean gear rewards and such like will be binned from BG's?
