I cant even install the game..

I used to play WoW and quit, but now i'm trying to get back into it. Only thing is, I'm getting an error message while trying to reinstall. During the actual installation, like when it says to insert a new disc, the error message appears:

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\DOCUME~1\gage\LOCALS~1\Temp\Blizzard Installer Bootstrap - 00039358\Installer.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:0048F1E6

The instruction at "0x0048F1E6" referenced memory at "0x00000001".
The memory could not be "read".

I've tried over and over but the same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions as to what the problem is or what to do?

I looked through them. I may have missed somthing but nothing is helping my problem. Those threads seem to be requesting help for people who actually get the game installed

try copying the files from your discs into a new folder, and run the install from there....it worked for me

I've done both of those :(.

Nothing is working.
