Priest/lock or Priest/Mage team for PvP

Any thoughts on which would make a better 2 person PvP team?

Priest/lock - damage boost on shadow, both chars can fear, priest dispel, multi-pet utility

Priest/mage - solid CC with sheep, major damage at range, frost to control melee

I vote lock.

I find they are stronger than mages, mages are to breakable.

The priest/lock combo is a killer. Two of the best pvp:ers on my server ran with that for a long time. They pretty much smoked everyone.

The only other combo that is just as good is mage/rogue. My friend and I played like that and we even beat the priest/lock team in a tournament in Gurubashi that our guild set up. Fun times. :smiley:

With a priest/lock, you have practically everything you want. Crowd control, heals, tank (SL warlock), anti-spellcaster (fellhunter), big nukes (especially because of PW shield), snares, etc.

I, too, would go Priest/Lock.

I'm curious just how often Mage/Rogue would beat Priest/Lock. *shrugs*
