My friend and I were talking about BC and I was just wondering what everyone thought the top Burning Crusade PvP classes would be (Solo/Arena Enviroment). So far i am thinking...
1)Warrior
2)Shaman
3)Warlock/Priest

1. Paladin - Not to sound biased here (I never got very high on Pally) but Crusader Strike is going to even the playing field tremendously. A 100% physcial damage attack with the chance to crit will to Paladin's already abundant skill flexibility in PvP.
2. Shaman - Good all around for group support and the often needed extra DPS. Shaman don't make the group, they just make it better. Also, new resto talents and the new Earth Shield thing will make Shaman much more desired for group PvP.
3. Warlock - DoTs will rule BC PvP, especially arenas. Toss the DoT to slow the target down and let the group finish him/her/it off. New DPS boosting talents will rock hardcore.
Now, why I didn't pick others:
Warrior - Itemization is right back to launch + 6 months. Warriors will have good DPS, but everything (Hp/Mp/AP) will scale with level on other classes. As people begin to level up, Warriors will lose some of that 'ownage' they've had for the last several months.
Priest - Good solo PvP, but just can't compliment a group like a Hybrid. Sure, healing is awesome, but who does everyone target first in group PvP? The Priest. (or Mage if there is one, Gnomes especially)
Hunter - Awesome solo PvP class, but not very good as far as contributing to groups. Extra DPS is always good, but Hunters just aren't really necessary for teamwork ownage.
Now remember, this is only for strategic pre-planned group PvP. For PuG and killwhoring PvP, Hunters, Warlocks, and Mages own. DPS is the best strategy for getting kills. Group support and teamwork are required for obtaining objective driven competitions.
Note: Druids flexibility in combat is awesome, but also very limited as far as objective gameplay is concerned. If there's gonna be more flag-running, they should be added to the list of "The Class that Will Own."

...wonders why you didn't make it a poll, which would actually do vote tabulation...

Group(Pug)-

6. Shaman

5. Hunters
6. Paladins/Druids
7. Shaman
8. Warriors
Assuming the same situation for both sides, I.E. Premade vs. Premade or Pug vs. Pug. Cuz what does it matter if it's a premade vs. a pug? Unless they premade is absolutely crap, it's going to dominate out of sheer organization and communication. And of course assuming equal gear and skill in all cases.

Well theres 3 different situations (Arena, Regular, and Solo) so it would be kinda hard to make a poll for all 3. But I did one for the top one overall.

I am a pretty serious BG-junkie with my Druid (elven). The only area I feel I excel is flag running, but spec'd feral I can tank with most warriors.
