View Full Version : Humanoid Tracking: Freind Or Foe?

ok, im a hunter heavy into the BG's. now, as every hunter does, i have track humanoids on all the time, but there's no way to tell if that little red dot is a frreind of a foe unless he's either a.) in ur party, or b.) you use eagle eyes to figure out urself. is there a mod out there that can do sometihng (I.E. change the color of the damn dot, is that too muich to ask?) thanks

Sure, why not make it like an overall god mode, so you can see every single person trying to sneak up to you? :p

i dont want a tracking mod, i jsut want a mod that changes the color of DOTS on a map.

ur obviously not a hutner and have no business replying to this, and anyone who wants to make a dumbass comment go to the official forums

The scripting system can not change the color of the blips on the minimap that are generated by the tracking skill.

Yup, as far as I understand it this is possible to do this for party / raid members since those dots are identifiable. The tracking ones aren't.

Um... I have a hunter alt at around 50. Guess what? He has the same tracking skill. Isn't this fun?!

The tracking skill is designed to be indiscriminatory. When you're mousing over, you're not supposed to know if "cowkiller" is a Tauren or a Human. Can you possibly imagine a WSG or an AB where you could take your NE Hunter, Shadowmeld someplace hidden, and see the position of every approaching Horde within range? This is also the same reason why you can't see classes.

It would, like I said, be a top-down "god mode."

Its really not hard, to look at the name on the minimap, and compare it to your raid list and see if they are in it. If not, they are not on your faction...


People want it so easy these days... As if hunter wasnt easy enough to pickup and play:lipsrsealed:
