Merging of two mods?

Not sure whether this should be in the Developer forum or what, feel free to move if it does.

So, I watched a movie with the bog standard NurfedUI unit frames in, and I love the way the health/mana/energy slides along instead of dissapearing instantly. I downloaded it, and don't really like the rest of the unit frame -_-

So my question is this:

Would it be even possible to get the slidey health/mana bars going on other mods? If so, would it be a simple case of c/p the code, or would I have to start from scratch?

I was hoping to get the slidey things on Perl Classic bar, since I'm so used to it now.

DUF has sliding HP/mana bars and u can turn it on/off, set the colors of the sliding part and more.

Hey Heloxian,

I've downloaded and installed DUF and set played around with it and it now looks 99% identical to the Perl UF I like.

Where abouts is the options that you described? I have the latest version but I can't find any option like that under Health/Mana bar. Any help would be appreciated :)

DUF seems like a big waste of memory just for the smooth feature...

Check this (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=5242) out should work with most statusbars... I've tested with Perl Classic XPerl and agUF.

I'd still like to know where the slide option is in DUF, it's starting to annoy me now :D
