Hi guys,
I hope someone will help me with this request.
I've been playing Wow for over a year, on and off, and I've been playing MMO's for almost 10 years. All's well and I have my add-ons nicely sorted and working just the way I like them.
But.... There's always a but.... I've been dating my GF for almost a year now, and when I started playing Wow again, she wanted to join in. This ofcourse made me very glad. It's great to have some sort of hobby/activity to do with your loved one. I suggested she roll a Priest, I'm a mage, and we have some other rl friends and family that fill most of the other spots (Warrior Tank, another mage, warlock etc.)
My girlfriend doesn't wear a watch, and navigational things like North, South East ect are greek to her! Even left and right can sometimes present a problem when the heat of battle is on and she's looking around for target and heal keys.
So my request is simple...
Can someone please make a mod that shows the 4 major and 4 minor directions (Abbreviation letters) on the minimap. N, E, S, W and NE, SE, SW and NW.
Additionally, but this is optional and not really a big issue, some sort of HUD indication of which side is Left and which side is Right will be very welcome. She always views her character from the rear, so the indicators don't have to swop around when the camera view is from the front. Come to think of it, I can actually just add some stickers to the monitor :tongue:
Anyways, the 8 wind direction abbreviations on the minimap will be very helpful indeed!
