Looking to re-do my UI...

Hey guys,
Used to play WoW religiously and then stopped once my semester was over. I'm back in school, so needless to say..I'm back in WoW.

Anyways, I was always very pleased with my UI, but now I'm just getting slightly bored with it. I want to spice it up, and re-do everything. Here's a pic of my current UI: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...94149505pCmCKv

Right now I use Gypsy for most things, along with a bunch of useful mods (Atlas, Gatherer, DamageMeters, EquipManager, etc.)

In changing my UI, I want a few things. The main thing I liked about Gypsy was the fact the the XP bar was a part of my portrait. So I want to keep that. I also want to break up my chat panels, I want a small Guild chat window and a Party/Whisper chat window, and then another one for everything else. I'm not sure if this is doable in-game itself, or through the use of add-ons. I don't mind if my portrait is in the middle bottom portion of my screen like I see a lot, or in the top left, and I need my action buttons to be easily accessible and I also need a row seperate from my "combat" buttons for my HS, professions, pots, etc.

Try to focus on Ace2-enabled mods. Your memory will love you for it.

Some suggestions:

Unitbars: X-Perl or ag_Unitframes. You can move the unit frames (health/mana bars) wherever you want on the screen. Many options for configuration, as well (show/hide experience bar, health, mana, health/mana deficits, health/mana percents, etc).

Action Bars: Bongos or Bartender2. Again, action buttons can be moved wherever you want and configured in whatever arrangement you want.

Chat windows: That's all simply done in-game. Click the tab on your chat channel, select "Create New Window" (or something along those lines), and voila. Drag and drop its tab to separate it from the others. Unlock/Lock to move it around, resize it, etc.

I use X-Perl, Bongos, ElkBuffBar, Gatherer, WIM, CTRaid, topchat, and hidechatbuttons. They all give me the look and feel I like.

That looks awesome man, I'm copying you as well as I can.

What are your screen settings set at? It looks like you have a LOT of space. My monitor is old and outdated (17" CRT) but what is your resolution etc. set at.

I'm a rogue, and I just downloaded Bongos. Can I make bongos change my main action bar when I go into stealth?

Figured out the rogue thing, I think. What is the icon just above your mini map?
