What's the minimum lvl req to enter SM library?

I believe my 17 entered....but can't recall exactly...

So, it must be lower than, or equal to 17.

Or do you mean to be actually useful? The boss is 37E, which mean you won't be helping out much on him unless you're 35 for DPS or around 33 for healing. I generally prefer a tank be even or above the maximum level of an instance as it just makes things WAY easier.

If what undercat said is your answer, then I might add the "required" level greatly varies depending on who is in the group and how they prefer. I got in at 34 as a frost mage.

A decent group should have no problems with lib at lvl 34. Lowest character I've had along was a lvl 29 warrior in a guild run. No warriors of the appropriate level was online, so we took the 29 just for fun to see how it would work out. Did just fine. A bit trouble holding aggro, sure, but we made it with no deaths :smiley:

I think the minimum was level 20. I use to grind SM cath with my rogue for money and group my low level toons with him just for free exp. i think i went there at level 18 once and couldnt get in. I came back at 20. I could be wrong because its been a while.

We just ran it with a group of 30-35's and did fine, 1 shammy, 2locks, 2 preists... it all depends on the group youve got to run with...

if ur gettign ran thru, i think its high teens to low 20's
ffor a 5 man group, id say 29 LOWEST, and thats only if ur a holy priest
for any other class..... probly 31
