Farming resist gear now worth it?

My guild recently requested for all guildies to start farming NR gear in preparation for AQ40 and I'm wondering, since the expansion is coming out, is it worth it to spend money on getting my NR gear crafted?(i'm MT for my guild) Or is there better resists gear in BC?

If you think its fun to raid go for it. If its just for the items its pointless, they will be replaced in a few levels in the expansion. Its only a month or two away.
