I am using discord art, bars, unit frames, ecasting bar and holy hope.

Does using mods drop your frame rate? I am running a dual 1mb cache cpu, 4gig of ram and 2 radeon 1600xt's in crossfire and i still sit around 20-40fps most of the time.

I hear people running at 50+ and wonder if it could be my UI. Is it better to just use the default if I want better FR?

Otherwise do you have an suggestions as to a UI that i can use that is minimalistic and doesnt chew my FRPS?

Cheers

the short answer is yes, i have about the same kind of machine, the 7950 nvidia sli card 4400+x2 amd, 2gb of ram (wow only used about 200mb when fully bloated with tons of addons) so yes, only thing i can come up with is that alot of addons are poorly coded, i suggest u go over to www.wowace.com and start replacing your current mods, also i would get the !!Warmup addon, in the addon listing at the site, it says what addons take most time loading and how much mem there using, not really accurate finding the bloated mods but it is correct sometimes, after switching over alot of mods to ace'd mods i have about 40-60 fps now. instead of 10-25. (without loosing any of the functionality. example fubar instead of titanbar. gl.

ps: im still replacing mods as i go or just removing them, some mods even give me 1-2 sek complete freeze of screen when 1: inventory change, 2:something dies, 3: someone loots, etc .
