Two questions about char

These may be easy to answer (I think).....
1. I have a character that I want to change the name of it. Can I do that?

2. Also, can I change the gender of the char?

1. No, unless your name is in violation of the naming policy and then GMs will force you to change it.
2. No.

One very heavy handed (and expensive) way to change the name of your char is to migrate to a different server ($25), after first having created and alt with your current name. As this name is in conflict with an existing character, the game will allow you to specify a new one. 3 months later you can migrate back, which is another $25.

Extremely cumbersome, expensive and time consuming, I know, but AFAIK this is the only way to change your character name.

And no, you can't change your gender, hair color or any other physical aspects of your character - short of deleting you char and rerolling, that is.

I did that :) but it was a combination of hating the character's name so much I'd never play it again and really not liking the server anyway; don't know if I'd have spent £15 on it otherwise.

I really wish we could change our hairstyles :-(
