I have been playing this game for over 2 years and have always used my mouse and some keyboard; however, I recently went into PVP and I found out the hard way that I have been screwing myself by playing this way...I am tooooo slow and die toooo often:ponder: What I need is this: How do i set-up key bindings in the game and what are the absolute best bindings/macros to use, in your opinion? I also know that others have their own bindings that is comfortable to them...I will build from your responses. I surely would appreciate all your intelligent input on this because I know there are more out there that need this too.
Thank you in advance for your responses to this request.

I saw a topic like this on the official forums but I can't find it anymore. I use:
f = ss/cs
e = cb+evis
q = blind
v = vanish
x = sprint
z = prep
1 = dismount+stealth/pickpocket
2 = kick/unstealth
3 = gouge/sap
4 = evis/garrote
5 = ks/distract
6 = evasion
Feint, expose armor, snd, and rupture are on another bar, 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Assist is on the mousewheel and I still click to distract when out of stealth.
Dismount/Stealth macro:
/script if not UnitAffectingCombat("player") then CastSpellByName("Stealth");end
/script UseContainerItem(0,4);
You have to be moving to mash it and (0,4) is just where I have my mount in my bags.
Bet you'd get more of a response if this topic got moved to the Rogue forums if there isn't one already.

Looks good; however, I dont know how to set these keys up...I have gone to the key bindings and cant figure it out. I got the unmount/stealth to work tho.

you just need to look at the action bar and press the button you want to use.
For example my SINISTER STRIKE is the "2" key of my main action bar
So press escape and go to key bindings.
Scroll down until you can find the "bottom left action bar" and select the button next to action bar 2 you can then choose which ever key you want to use instead.
personally I use 1 to = for my main spells and crtl 1 to = for not so often used spells
