next patch release?

Have any details of the next patch been leaked or released yet?

I know they are saying PVP is changing but is there anything else?

Does anyone know when the patch will come?

I want to get rank 8 - I am 3/4 through 6 will I have time :)

I can't imagine it being any time soon. It was planned to come out with TBC but since they pushed TBC back until january they decided to put some things in early.

I've not heard anything official so I might be wrong, but I'd say mid November or later.

I heard more like mid-December.

The plan, last I heard about it, is to release many of the mechanics changes in preparation for the expansion. This means, mainly, PvP rank changes and and class talent changes.

If the talent changes are cominig, that means the itemization changes... all the % based stats moving to the rating based (crit % -> crit rating etc).

Along with that will be the addon changes/restrictions.

It'll be big...

As for timing, someone commented in the official forums about being disappointed in the delay. He had some time off from work for the holidays and he wanted to play the new content. The blue posted that there'd be a patch out for him to play.

So that'd go along with Dynatos's mid-december date.
