swimming/diving (newb question)

Hi, how do you make the character dive underwater? I need to get to a chest but it's too far away on the ocean floor.

hold your right click key, "look down" while swimming

Like if you stand on land and hold down right click you can swing camera all around your character to look around. If you are walking forward and you swing the camera left the character turns left. If you swing it down, he looks down but keeps walking forward. When you go in water, you press forward and you swim. You look left and you turn left. But look down, and you start to dive (up to surface). Pay atention to the "breath" meter so you don't drown.
