Blizzard copying Magic The Gathering?

Anyone else think this with this new card game they just released? Seems a bit cheesy to me. Oh well i guess its their solution for the extended delay of BC, we can play....the.......card game....

It's not the only card game that's been based on a Movie or video game (or vica versa). So, no, I don't think they're copying anything.

A card game is a card game... and sure at first sight it looks a bit like MtG, but there is a ton of difference between MtG and WoW.

Unless I was playing the game completely wrong, we were able to enchant any mob card we wanted wo extra power, where in Wow, you can only ''enchant'' the hero.

You doesn't have the choice as to who defend the attack. Your opponents decides it.

Again, the damage on the mobs where not permanent. After the turn, if your mob had survived the battle, their stats were resetted (no permanent damage counter) well... unless the enchantment was something like : add a -1/-1 stuff at the end of your turn (or something like that)


But it definately look more like MtG than Star wars for example...
