Hello there... My shaman recently turned 56 (57 now) and I set foot in the deserts of Silithus for real, starting to quest there.

Now, I know there's a world-PvP event there where you have to gather silithyst and bring it back to your faction's camp. I've already done this 4 times and gotten some honor and a pretty decent buff.

What I wonder is what happens when your faction get 200 silithyst (or the other faction for that matter), or even if something happens if your faction is in the lead.

You get a repbonus. Every kill that would normally give you cc rep gives 50% more (i think its 50 :) )

i had been wondering about this myself, glad i didnt bother turning in more than a few, seems complete waste to me.

in the time its taken to get the 200 you could of been raking in the rep anyway, and its a waste for pvps since there is nothing really init for the pvper, what 200 honor per turn in or something like that, per turn in you could get a lot more honor in the same space of time in a battleground, or even if you were just out world pvping.

I thought that you retained the bonus only for the score of the current game. GHuess your explanation makes more sense. That buff is awesome for going into AQ though. You get a huge rep bonus there.

Serrat, you also get a 10 rep bonus with CC for each silithyst delivered.

Yeah if a guild coordinated turn ins prior to running AQ it could go quickly and be useful. We had a 25% rep bonus last night while running AQ 20 and it's pretty nice. At the very least it's much more useful than the reward for the EPL world pvp.

You dont have heavy world pvp (yet), and you cant be in battlegrounds 24/7 (especially true for alliance). Running sand in between bg queues is a hefty amount of additional honor, and is pretty much required during downtime on some alliance heavy servers/battlegroups if you have plans of becoming a GM.
