Starting NAXX!

Well today was planned as the first time we poke around in NAXX. We are an alright guild(have BWL on farm and can do like 3-4 bosses in AQ40). We are mostly T2 with some members T1 and T2 Mix(I am the in that category). As I said tonight we are just going to poke around, see if we can kill some of the trash and possibly attempt a boss or 2. Any advice or suggestions on what wings and bosses we should try to approach? We realize we are pretty under geared and are just doing this for fun.

Trash mobs are very easy compared to the AQ40 trash. You should do fine. Naxx really isnt that hard.

Naxx isn't hard until you start hitting bosses and the actually tough Trash Mobs. I mean, Trash Mobs in there have huge health, but that's about all they have to them.

I'd start by clearing the trash in each Wing until you've got the Echoes of War quest complete. Doing this allows you to get your loot drops from Bosses turned into the T3 pieces. After that, I found Instructor Razuvious to be the best starter boss. He's all about timing, if you can do Chromaggus you should be able to get the hang of Razzy. After him, Anub'rekhan, Grand Widow and Maexxna are probably the easiest, although you'll be crying tears of frustration on Anub until you get it right. ;)

Anub is frustrating. Last week, the top raiding guild on our serve one-shot all of Naxx (including Kel'Thuzad) ... except Anub'Rhekan. They wiped once on him.

He's probably the least forgiving boss I've seen in there. One technical error, the raid eats a Locust Swarm + Impale, scarabs start spawning from corpses, and it's all over.

But, ya, make sure you have 2 Priests with +4% hit and Raz is a cakewalk. We killed him our first night in Naxx with only one wipe. Of course, we were also up to C'Thun when we did it. :tongue:

Ok Ill mention killing trash in each wing as a suggestion. Im sure they have a plan of attack for our field trip, what wing would you recommend boss wise for attempts?(Im at school and this is the only site(only the forums part too) i have availible to me without it being blocked)I would like to maybe run things over in my head so I have something to think about while I do nothing on this half day.

As was said, Razuvious is the easiest; he's in the Deathknight wing.

Next would be Anub'Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and Maexxna in the Spider Wing.

razuvious, then anub rekhan, then noth, then rest of spider wing, then abnomination wing, then heiagn, then gothic. that s how far we are by now :) listed from easiest to hardest. ( continuation then would be loatheb, then 4 horsemen )

and dont miss the echoes of war quest. it is damn important :)

but honestly i'd work on aq40, Cthun is a more funny and more interesting boss fight than all the naxx bosses i have listed here.

I'd have a go at Raz and Anub. If those two work out well you can add them to your schedule and continue with AQ40. The annoying part about anub is that he he likes to evade. We have killed him 1,5 times on more than one kill..
Other stuff can ofc also go wrong, but all in all he's really not a big deal.

Yeah, We never got to Naxx last night. Kept wiping on Nef, No one was paying attention and it was freakin black and bronze colors too! Whats up with that?

Nefarian is much more difficult than a several Naxxramas fights.

Yeah, we had a weird class make up that night. We normally 1 shot BWL in about 3.5 hours.
