Woot! Exalted in Ab now...

Now I only have WSG to go....(I won't make it to exalted in WSG by the time the patch hits...)

Who else is trying to hit a particular pvp goal before the patch?

I'm currently at corporal and going to try to make it all the way to no exp in private by going total carebare on my server and doing 0 bg :D

you'll never make it ... that would probably be harder than it would be for Mes to make exalted in WSG LOL

Tell me Mes... how long did it take to make exalted in AB. I was going to make a push for that on my warlock but then I started raiding and got the Azuresong Mageblade and the staff and dagger were all of a sudden obsolete. But seeing as my mage will probably only raid when we're short on mages (which is basically never) I'll be looking to find him some decent weapons and gear... the question is can I make it by the expansion given that he's an alt and the only day I can really dedicate fully to his progress is Saturday when I have no IRL plans.

But, I found that it goes ALOT faster when you are in a true PVP guild....

I found a group of guys that form WSG groups routinely, and also for AB groups on AB weekends...They then steamroll the place...

Keep in mind that when you are 65, none of this will matter...But, it is fun now...heh.

As for if you can make it...Where are you now in terms of rep?

I've gotten to Revered to AB, and Honored to WSG (I turned in 100+ marks to finish out WSG... leveled almost completely through 30th)... and banked the gear forward to 58th.

If I didn't loathe the place so much, I'd push on through Revered in WSG to bank the weapons as well... but looking at 12000rep in the one BG that makes my blood boil is just a waste of my time. I considered going for Exalted in AB, but I'd rather start the leveling grind to join my friends, then work my butt off for a few pieces of armor I can't wear for 30 levels. (I'll grind out the HKs and Marks post-TBC...)

Well I'm aiming for rank 10 and exalted with AB. I work full time so these are quite realistic goals. I'll hit rank 10 on the reboot this week and am currently 7k into revered but I'm just not sure I can make exalted before the patch so i can get the Ironbark Staff. If I'm not exalted when the patch comes out my PvP days will be over, I'm not gonna do that grind all over again for an epic weapon that will be no better than the new greens in TBC.

I must admit I am quite looking forward to the patch as I will spend a hell of a lot more time in RL. WoW will take even more of a backseat as my goals will either be completed or ruined when the patch finally hits :)

I see no reason to get exalted in WSG despite being almost revered; there are no particularly good upgrades that I can see.

I'm 11k out of 21k revered in AV as horde... It is brutally slow but I'll hit exsaluted before TBC is released. I kinda wish I did WSG to exsaluted 1st but the DR ring and off-hand book(s) will be nice for my priest. Just gotta get my hands on a good 1h priest mace or dagger now.

I gave up on rank 10 on my druid.

My goals: Exalted with AB (currently 3-4k into exalted iirc). If possible exalted with WSG (currently about 7.5k into honoured). I just totally hate, loathe, despise and generally dislike WSG, so rarely venture there for long.

Secondly, on my Rogue: Hit rank 8 before TBC, exalted with AV (about 5.5k into exalted) and probably whatever else I feel like to get that rank.

well...The date you need to beat is when the patch goes live...People are suggesting dates of two to four weeks before that happens...

But, if you miss it, you can buy it later, with honor pts and tokens...

WSG is hilariously fun on a druid...If you are legionaire, you have access to four pieces of gear that add 15% to your speed in travel form...This makes you a GREAT flag carrier...heh

well...not sure if we are 'losing' it per se...But it doesn't appear to be useful after the patch...if that is what you mean.

I'm only 10% of the way in WSG from revered to exalted, but my son has next week off and wants to try to get me exalted there...heh
