Honor Rank Question

I know this is going away with the new expansion, but asking anyways.

I've been looking everywhere i can for this questiong - Is there a level requirement for each honor ranks? I'm level 39 right now, and wondering if I need to start leveling if I hope to gain any ranks before the expansion.

If you know the level requirements, if there are any, can you post all 14?

Well, the ability to gain rank goes away before the expansion, likely in a month or less. Apparently the patch is in the test realms as of this morning...So, figure two weeks.

I can't recall if there is a level requirement....But, I'm sure you can get up to at least rank 4 or so below level 40, in any case.

There are not 14 different level requirements...Of that, I am certain.

My advice: Start PVP now, and ask folks this question in the battleground...There are likely hard core pvp'ers there that know the answer.

yes, there are max levels...

I dont know them all, but for example, a lvl 19 cannot get past sgt (i think)....

plus, alot of the gear available now has rank requirements. For example, the rank 8+ gear has lvl 60 req now.

This information is from a wiki-ish site related to WoW (not sure how strict the rules are on "no other websites", etc), so all of the credit goes to the original authors who did the math.

Rank 1 - Level 1+
Rank 2 - Level 1+
Rank 3 - Level 1+
Rank 4 - Level 33+
Rank 5 - Level 38+
Rank 6 - Level 41+
Rank 7 - Level 44+
Rank 8 - Level 46+
Rank 9 - Level 48+
Rank 10 - Level 51+
Rank 11 - Level 53+
Rank 12 - Level 55+
Rank 13 - Level 57+
Rank 14 - Level 59+

So if you're 39, rank 5 is as high as you can go.
