Armor kits and enchants

Quick question:
I have an enchant on my boots, can I apply an armor kit without losing the enchant?

No.

Items can have 1 permanent and 1 temporary buff on them at any time.

Enchants and Armor kits are permanent, as are the steel weapon chain, mithril spurs, etc.

Sharpening/weightstones, mana oils, etc are examples of teh temoprary buffs.
