I was just wondering, now that PTR is up do we have a better idea when the 2.0 patch will be released?

Thank you

people are suggesting dates from two to four weeks.

Yes ive heard it will be in that time scale too, just from general google'n an reading any game news sites..... OFC this being the internet and all id take it with a pinch of salt

Ive also read that 2.0 will follow the BC release as to add content which will make people without the BC have access to the new level cap, talents etc, just no new outland or races etc. so if thats true 2.0 could follow the release of the BC where ever your realm is, as in 17th of january is europe release date so will 2.0 come to us in europe around then?

As i said dates are general speculation easier to wait for blizz to whack it on the WoW preloader

Speculations all good fun though while i sit through 36 hour maintenace annoyed i cant kill stuff when i get in from work.... Back to google it is

If we are talking about the same 2.0 (the PTR release which has the honor system changing, some class changes, and the like), it most certainly will be before BC releases.

Blizzard has already indicated that 2.0 will be released prior to TBC.

No indication as to a specific date, though. Everything is speculation, but I've seen estimates from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.

I suspect with the amount of changes in WoW 2.0, it'll be closer to 4+ weeks. They need to have all the new talent trees tested, new gear, new combat mechanics... not to mention the new LFG system etc.

I know some of this has already been tested in the beta, but that's a somewhat limited sized testing pool. The PTRs will have queues for weeks with people wanting to check out the new specs.

closer to 4+....that is a sure bet...since it won't likely be 2 or three....so anything other than 2 or 3 falls in your suggestion....

C'mon...be a sport and pick a particular week....I'll take Dec. 12.

I will be quite shocked if the patch isn't live before Christmas...

TBC, though, is obviously scheduled for January.
