I was wondering as I work towards my epic mount and consider how much it will cost... what PvP epic mounts are available, and how does this work with the current mount system and then patch 2.0?

I would assume that I still have to buy the riding skill (which is now the greater cost) but that this could possibly be less expensive after a rep grind in PvP. Any insight would be appreciated.

Anybody out there that can shed some light on this for me?

PvP epic mounts only need 75 riding skill..so they are still cheaper (90 for the skill 10 for the mount (less with rep)

Very interesting... I suppose this means that if I want to buy a flying mount in BC, I need to pay for my epic riding skill anyway so that I can move on to flying skill.

Well..Paladin epic mounts and warlock epic mounts also only need a riding skill of 75 iirc (or the skill of 150 is given free with the quest..no idea..made those quests long before the recent patch) - but...yeah..in BC we will all have to fork it over for the flying mount (but who says that you don't need 150 before you can buy 225...now that would be a disadvantage to the PvP mount owners)

if i recall, they changed the PvP epics to 150 skill in the new patch (2.0)

So that should be "they WILL change" ... there is no patch 2.0 yet.

I would love to know where you think you can buy these so called - epic PvP mounts that only need 75 riding skill...

Stormpike Battle Chargers need a riding skill of 150 to use.

Maybe they changed it just recently, but I can assure you that you can buy them once you're exalted- but will not be able to use it until you're riding skill is 150.

I was eligable for the AV ram before the change but did not have the Gold to buy it. After the patch the Ram cost me 9 Gold and 720 Gold to learn the riding skill from my faction. I am only exaulted with AV, not any city faction.

Okay then..for the AV mount that makes sense...that was 720 gold anyhow...

Yet, as stated above..the rank 11 mounts cost less and need a lower riding skill. People exhalted with AV and at lv 60 already with another epic mount could buy and ride the AV reward for 8 gold. Lucky sods...

Hi,

So im now lvl 56, 4k from axalted with av:

Now, if i would buy the epic mount from AV, and lvl my *** off to 60 before the patch hits, will i be able to ride it after the patch is applied....because i would really love that:)

Or will i have to be rank 11 before the patch hits?

Any info would be appreciated, because then i would know if my time in AV is actually worth it :P

Cheers
