I accidentally bought a horse bridle from the mount vendor in Southshore the other day. It cost me 9 gold (ouch!). What exactly does this do? I am approaching level 40, but I thought it cost 20g to learn to ride, and 80g to buy the mount. What is this 9g bridle all about?

I think they changed that in the latest patch. So with the discount you can get the mount for 9g and the skill for 81g. Correct me if i'm wrong.

The bridle is the item that you "use" to call up the mount, like the cat carrier.

Isnt it just a bad chest piece?
And why would you buy something and not know what its for lol.
Oh wait, its a Alliance side horsey.
My bad, that would explain the 9g lol.

When you call your UD horse, you use its reins and not horse itself, I believe. So bridle would be the same for living horse? :)

For the Undead horse, you use "Horn of the Skeletal Mount".
For the Human horse, it's along the lines of "Pinto Bridle". Night Elf tigers, it's of the format "Reigns of the Frostsaber".
Technically, you right click the reigns, bridle, horn, or whatever the flavor.
So, uh, you're wrong.
