is it possible to SKIP a RANK? from 8 to 10?

How difficult is it to skip a rank? Also, how much honor does one get per HK? I got 853HK's yesterday playing a losing AV and wondered if that was as much honor as winning the AV.

I would love to get to the point of Commander so I can get a cheap epic mount and not have to train my riding skill ultimately saving me about 700G. I'm currently rank 8.

How much honor may be needed to skip a rank? For the past several weeks, I've ranked up every week. I want to step on it with the expansion coming soon and make sure I get a 9G epic mount before then.

I doubt you can get a pvp mount before the next patch hits the servers.

You don't get the the epic riding skill for 9g .. and you will need epic riding skill for learning flight mount skill anyways.

You cannot skip an officer rank. you can get 99% of the next rank filled, but at that level is requires being a complete ***hole, whoring the number one placement and screwing over any potential rank 14's.

At rank nine you are going to notice a big difference in honor accumulation. You will neeed ALOT more honor to rank. Rank 10 is the end of casual PvP the start into many hours a day PvPing.

EDIT: Keep in mind alot of people, many with far more time on their hands than you, are trying for the same thing. Just fork over the gold, because you are going to need that level skill for the the next rank so you can get a flying mount.
