Finaly after 45 days waiting after being a victim of a hacker i get a email from blizzard! And now they whant me to send picture of my credit card back and front becouse they need the 4 left digits and the 4 right digits on it, becouse i transfered a char to a frinds account near the time it got hacked.
And my passport. All that is ok so i got 3 option send it too them via email, webform or fax.. The picture need some kb's so your abel to see the small digits and stamps and i notice they got a 500kb limit on mails.. So my only option is fax and i would asum if i sendt a email or webform i would be last in line again and wait 45days more to get too the top in the que and get confirmed. So enough talk :p The fax number i got from them in the email is 00(area code) 33(contry code)130679012 looks great but what i get when am trying to send is this.

That Fax number sure dont work. So anyone know about a working Fax number for wow EU. Or a good idea on how i can get 1.6mb middle qulity pictures down too 500kb middle qulity pictures?

I'm sorry, I have no idea but bumping your post in case anyone does.

What format is the 1.6MB image? If you saved it as a png would it still be clear enough?

Or you could try phoning the fax number you've been given, and when someone replies ask them what the fax number is.

You are joking aren't you? You are going to send your most important personal and financial information to a random french fax number? Do you wonder why they ask for the photocopy of the back of the card? It's because they want the security code. No respectable company (especially one as large as Blizzard) would ever ask you to do this. Phone them up and check it out. If it is a premium rate number it will be cheaper then having your credit card abused by some hacker.

Do NOT give out your credit card information or your passport nubers or whatever. Unless you want your credit card and personal identity abused in some illegal activity...

The Email is from WoWAccountReviewEU@blizzard.com and i need to confirm my ownership too them to get my account back. Only way too do that is too send a valid ID and for the CC iv sensured the 8 digits in the middel. Iv hosted the pictures online and sendt links too them instead of attaching them. Couldt find any other way.

That fax number was given from WoWAccountReviewEU@blizzard.com so its not some randomly number.
