WoW Playtime Limit?

Ok this did not happen to me but to a friend of mine and tbh i wanted to see if anyone on beta servers or on the US test servers had got this problem. K what was that matter was my friend was playing on the EU test server for about 3 hours or so in the battlegrounds. After this time had gone an icon and a msg came up on his char next to the portrat it was as follows:

"You Suffer Honour Tiredness All XP and All Money Cut In Half For 5 Hours Please Go Rest"

Or something along those lines, now is this a bug or a new thing and is it on the beta servers?

I've never seen this...I've played for up to 8hrs at a time...

Two options. Either parental controls have been activated, or more likely, he's playing WoW from China. Sounds pretty much like the message they want to give to their gamers there. Recall reading about it several months ago.

Blizzard already covered this in a news item. It's because your friend was playing on the PTR using his Beta client.

This is why Blizzard stated that you should be connecting to the PTR realm with your standard client rather than your beta one.
