Enchanting Question

Does Enchant Weapon (like Icy chill and Fiery weapon) have any effect on range weapon (wands og guns) or is it "just" for melee weapons ?

just for melee. You can put scopes on bows and guns though via an engineer... but making something like icy chill effective on bows would make it overpowered. Way to easy to kite if they don't even have to use concussive shot.
