macro icons ?

Ive got a nice bandage macro, but i discovered that there is no bandage icon available as selection. :cry:

Do i need a mod for a greater selection of macro icons ? I would like to have all possible icons ingame as macro icons.

There are some Icon packs (SAMs icons has a great icon for bandages, a Red Cross) on this site. You can also make your own. They have to be saved in the .tga format (or .blp if you have the converter). Save any custom icons in this folder: C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Interface/Icons (create the Icons folder and drop any custom icons into it). Change the drive letter/folder path to the correct path if you have not installed WoW in the usual location.

If i could extract the bandage symbol from WoW( MPQ files ?), then i could place it in that directory and it would work, correct ?

Yes that would work. Someone has actually extracted all of the Hotbar icons (a patch or two ago) and exported them as JPEGs. I don't remember where I dug up the .zip file, but it is around somewhere. If you can find that, then all you need to do is convert the .jpg to a .tga and drop it into your new Icons folder.
