I see it this way its fun to take control of machines and stuff at low lvls and make combat pets that just last a while and sometimes you need an edge against an opponet so why not throw a bomb or something to help. But is it worth it or are there better stuff out there I play an engineer and its tons of fun, but is it helpful or just for the fun its so hard to aquire the most useful recipies because every time I try to buy one someone out bids or its to expensive or too rare. Just should I keep it or change it?

I would say that engineering helps alot in PvP, but not so much in PvE. Depends in what you wanna do.

As ShadowJazz basically said, it depends on what you want to do. If you find that there is more helpful stuff to be done with another profession, you can always do that with an alt. If you have loads of fun with it, as you say, why should you even think about changing it?

Well being an engineer gets me poor, but I just bought an ez throw dynamite I might be able to sell to lower lvls for silver. I do love engineering I got it up to 65 in an hour Its now 93 so I am deffinetly going to max it out

i'm 315 eng. and it simply pwns in all aspects. the only thing is you need to be rich in order to 1. fund the inital builds of your devices 2. spend 10-20g per week for materials.
