only lvl 42 but I went ahead and got the epic recipes for other classes too. Got the Warlock Robe of Void 1st. One pattern for the mage was going for 300gold...Gasp....then I scrolled below and there it was for 20 gold. I still can't find the darn pattern for the runecloth bags yet!:undecided:

The epic recipes are BOP so you can only use them on your own character and only if you are the right class. For Robe of the void you have to be a Warlock to use it.
So if you have bought several recipes dont learn them, sell the ones you can't use. And if you have already learned them it's to late.

I hate to break it to you but the epic patterns for other classes beside you own are useless to you. The Robes are soulbound once you make em. If they weren't, a lot more people would be running around with em.

!@#$#@ So if I made them, once they are made I cant sell? ARGGGGGGGH!!!! Oh well lessoned learned.

yeah if you made any robes you just wasted a couple hundred gold in mats at least.

If you just bought the patterns you can re-sell no worries. But don't make any of them that you don't plan to wear. :D
start selling bags!

hahaha I just got the runecloth bag pattern this morning in AH,,grabbed it quick. The bags sell for about 1g - 4g on hellscream server.

If they are selling for 1g don't waste your time. The rune thread you need to buy to make them will cost 40s alone. It would be better to just sell the runecloth. If they are selling for 4g you can make a marginal but very steady profit...

Yeah One player sells for 1 gold each and another player I seen sells them for 4 gold each. Of course people are going to buy the 1 gold bags. I have to find a happy medium between these two.
Oh and them bottomless bags I heard about, is that a rare pattern that drops?

The bottomless bag pattern is an extremely rare drop. The patterns sell for anything inbetween 800 and 5000 gold, depending on your server and, I guess, who is selling it? The average buyout price on Wowhead is 3000 gold. And it takes quite a bit of stuff to make the bags too. "Requires Bolt of Runecloth (8), Mooncloth (12), Large Brilliant Shard (2), Core Leather (2), Rune Thread (2)".

Just out of interest how many slots does the bottomless bag have? Is it 18?

Yes, 18 slots, so 2 more than the bags you get for 9-15 gold. Those are two very, very expensive slots.

i hate to say this, but learn to read ^^
on every recipy there is a description of the item it will produce, and "bind on pickup" surely was mentioned there. Just a hint for future adventures into the AH :)
but dont worry, i am sure you can sell them again.

OK, so now that I have the pattern for Robe of the Void and lvl my tailoring to 300, can I give that recipe to another Lock guildie so he can make his robe? Are the recipes soulbound once you learn them?
Also, any suggestions for Felcoth farming? I know the mobs, but the drop rate is disgusting.

Be patient...there is an 18-slot pattern you'll see in BC that is much easier to get.

Kill something else that drops something of value more commonly. Sell that item and buy the felcloth off the AH.
In the time it takes you to get 8-10 pieces of felcloth you could likely farm double or triple the amount of money needed to buy those pieces of felcloth.
