Want to start playing WOW, please advise

Hi Guys and WOW fans,

Can u please advise..

I wanted to become a WOW addict, but when i go to the site, i am unable to register as there is no option for Indian...:cry:

I am in Bangalore, India and want to start my crusade at WOW after all the rants and raves i have heard about it..

How do i set up an account ???

Please advise and I would be forever grateful to you for your kindness :grin:

You have to buy the game in a store first and install it, you can't just download it after registering.

I mean when i go to the registration screen i get the message

This account creation process is only available to customers in North America, New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore.

Can i still go ahead and register ???

by reading that message, I would be saying no... but I would be a little worried if your local game store is selling a product that cannot actually be used in your country.
2 suggestions for you:
1) Go back to the store and ask them about it, somebody is likely to know how you can register to play, and if not, question why they are selling a game that cannot be played lol
2) Call the Blizzard hotline helpdesk thing and ask them how you would register. They should be able to advise you.

i think if you play from asia you are suposed to register on the asian website for it, not the us one.. eh.. call the suport number see what they say
