My Uncle and I play WoW. He is a lvl 60 warrior. I am a lvl 15 mage. We are on the same server, but he is Horde and I'm Alliance. He could give me money, and run me through VC (also known as Dead Mines) But I have to delete my characters and make a new one. Should I delete my character and make myself a new one, or stay with this one and continue? :undecided: My friend, she's a lvl 10 priest, she wants help too. Should we delete them?

Do you want to play Horde or Alliance? If you want to play Horde, the answer sounds like it should be "Yes". If not, then the answer would be "No".
As I understand things, having somebody that high in level run an instance for / with you results in far fewer XP's than if you did it yourself.

It doesn't matter if Horde or Alliance, I just don't no what to do =/

So I should just raise my lvl and do it by myself l8er on?
level 15 isn't much. You could get back to it quite quickly if you wanted to.

I wouldn't delete any toon until I had to. You can have 10 per server and if you decide not to play it you can turn it in a a mule character to store stuff on. If you change your mind you can always go back to it. You can't do that if it is deleted.
I once had a guy give me some gold because he was deleting his horde toon to go play alliance. I thought him a fool, but a very generous fool...

delete.. restart horde with your uncle and friend.. having a higher level does hurt you in instances.. but the loot and speed will make up for it.
you can always make alliance on another server.

There's a somewhat medicore way to pass gold between factions using the neutral auction houses, but instance running with a member of the other faction is flatly impossible. Since you're only lvl 15 it would not be a major setback to just delete that character and start again on the other side.
Simple question- are you on a PvP or Normal (PvE) realm?
I know it may seem like you've put a lot of time into it already, but in the scheme of things, you really haven't. If you intend to continue playing for a long time, I'd go with your uncle- it's always more fun to play with people you know- and you'll be 60 soon enough.

The PvP or PvE server is relevant, because if you're on a PvE server you can create both Alliance and Horde toons on the same server. You can't on a PvP server.
Personal opinion - why don't you and the lvl 10 toon gang up and play together? I find getting boosted through instances boring and much prefer the school of hard knocks to learn what the class does and how far you can push it. Yes, I know your mileage can vary (lots) on this subject). Your uncle can still give advice, if you need it.

15 is a few hours work, compared to the 10-20 days of work it will take to get to 60.
Delete your mage now before it's too late.
Having level 60 friends around is a great way to get some nice loot that really will speed up your leveling.

I'm on a PvP world. And I've raised lvl 15 in about 6 days. I do play w/ my friend.

The questions that you have to ask yourself are: do you play most the time with your friend(s) or your uncle? do you plan to join a guild with your friends or your uncle? (Guild can help you to run instances or do elite quests). Teaming up with a high level char makes the killing much faster and more hence your down time is less so there isn't any issue with xp. Once you get you priority set then the answer is pretty obvious.

If you think you will enjoy playing WoW with your Uncle, delete your toon and crossover. Going from 1-15 is not going to be hard. Just do what you think is going to be fun. Right now, you are confused, confused enough to think about deleting your toon. Try it now when your toon is only level 15.

It doesn't matter. Do what you feel like, but if you're gonna move, do it now. Don't wait, now. If you can expect some aid in form of bags/gold/boe stuff from your uncle, fine and dandy, but you say he doesn't play much when you're on, so you're not going to see much of him.
Considering your age though, I'd say you're better off playing on the same side as someone you know, who can guide you where necessary.
Hope this is a bit of helpful insight.

You mentioned that you belong to a guild. How helpful are they? Do they help you right away when you ask for help? Like eveyone said you can level up really fast when you are low level. Another question do you feel comfortable to play in the PvP realm? Given your age and your friend's age, you might want to try the PvE realm so you both can enjoy and learn the game without people gank on you (just a suggestion)
