Blizzard changed the whole API, Peter. You'll have to update them, or live with the default UI.

How ?

See what mods can be served by automatic updaters like Cosmos. Highlight the ones that were downloaded. Then go crazy downloading updated mods. Expect to spend the next week or so finding either updated mods or finding new mods that do the same thing as the old mod.

Funny you would say that when the mods I've been using are top ranked on every interface site. I also discovered many mods (TrinketMenuLoader, Clique, etc) months before they got popularized by the bnet kiddies.

Well,you should find mods that combine some of the mods you had before lol. I modify pretty much everything and I had 63 mods at most :p

try getting ace2, fubar and all those pretty addons. Cut my modcount down by a lot :)

I agree with Dynatos I personally only liked ct for 1 thing and thats the mailmod

Doesn't lag on my system, Im running a 3 year old 2.0ghz machine with 1.5 megs of ram and a decent vid card. But then again i have optimized my running set of processes, have disk defrag running everynight and made sure to keep my drivers updated.

On and I run a firewall/norton anti-virus in real-time and my system doesn't lag at all.

I was using ace when version 1 was still in development and wowace.com didn't even have forums :)

That being said, I didn't list many of the esoteric mods that a casual simply wouldn't need. I mean if you don't raid eng-game or pvp you wouldn't need trinketmenuloader, BigWigs, cthunwarner, nefarionkillcount, KLHThreatMeter, PerfectRaid, etc

i also multiclass between a rogue, priest and warrior so i need addons for each class that are dynamically loaded in when i play with that character, e.e blindvanishcount, autoposionbuy, weapommaster (repoison), clique, detox, decursive, tankpoints, etc

I also run my guild site and I need character/guild profiler mods to update the roster etc.

Why in God's name would you need Decursive AND Detox, since they do the same thing? Hell, why would you need either? All they do now is give a list of poisoned people.
