View Full Version : MoveAnyThing gone for good?

I've been using MoveAnyThing since patch 1.7 and (mostly) happy with the results. It's not been updated for a LOOOOONG time though, and throught the past patches I've been using an out-of-date versoin.

Unfortunately this is no longer an option.
With the 2.0 release all old addons have been labeled "incompatible".

So, I need one of the following:
- Someone to rewrite MoveAnyThing so it'll work in 2.0
- A different addon with the same functionality

For those of you who don't know (and have slow imaginations), MoveAnyThing let you move parts of the UI around and resize it, things like the castbar, buffbar, minimap, etc.

I've already tried Discord Frame Modifier, but find it both cumbersome and unintuitive. I actually managed to screw up my entire UI with it by accident and couldn't fix it until I deleted the addon.

Please, help me! :undecided:

There's a new version up, but I can't seem to get the link for you because all the UI sites are reaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllly slow and not working. I found it earlier today on either wowinterface.com, curse-gaming.com or on here. Check around, it's out.

I believe it was from wowinterface.com and it's under Beta TBC mods. It works in Patch 2.0 though ;)

Its fairly easy to tweak a few things to get it running, but it doesn't work well. It'll prevent you from accessing the spellbook in combat (it doesn't matter you don't want to do that a lot, its a bug) and it prevents rogues from accesing the main button panel when leaving stealth in combat. Several things probably need a big rewrite

Been using this update since it was preety much released, and suddenly no updates, used until yesterdays aptch with no problems. Would be nice to get an alternative or an update but ofc all the UI sites have crashed and burned.

MoveAnything was updated for WoW 2.0, so stop complaining and search for it.

Search for "moveanything wow 2.0" and the second link gives you the mod.
