First going to say, not whining at all. But holy crap with the new patch I have noticed in all the PvP games I join, the fights end *so* quick. Either you crush your opponents or they crush you quicker than you can blink.
Anyone else notice this? Thoughts?

Well, I roll an affliction warlock and I've got about 5.6k health. And I was abolutely MURDERED by what I think was a Mutilate rogue in the eight seconds his cheap shot and kidney shot lasted. I got one dot on him.
My rogue alt is level 23 now :)

hi,
i noticed that too, im a mage and i kill or get killed very fast. It seems to me that rogues take a lot more character expertise to kill. And Locks must be very happy people, i had problems with them before the patch but now i seem to only manage to kill 1 out of 10 Locks i encounter.
But i find it a lot more fun to PVP now, i am under the impression that you really need to be skilled to kill rather then just bash and hope you win.
Just my 2cents
Cheers

As always, it just depends on the crits. If you get a few lucky crits, the fight can be over before the GCD is up on your first barrage (as a hunter anyway. Aimed>Arcane>Auto all crit, it's GG for anyone). But If nothing crits, you can sit there for 2 minutes waiting for someone to die!

Since the patch I'm having more trouble with rogues than ever before, and surprisingly - feral druids.
If a rogue manages to CS me, they can keep me stunned long enough to kill me in about 75% of the encounters I've had since the patch. This wasn't the case before. Plus, I don't know if they have a new skill or if I've been unlucky with resists, but I've had a good 5 or 6 times when I tried to Deathcoil them off of me, and nothing happened at all.
And where did all these feral druids come from? Not only can they do a good job of stunning/dazing me, but they actually do decent damage as well.

The resist may be coming from the 41 point subtelty talent from rogues. It removes all negative effects and gives them a 90% resist rate for 5 seconds. If they know you're going to pop DC ASAP, they'll probably blow that as soon as their stun lock drops.

I roll an UD Lock and Love the new talents, 5/4/42 all demmo baby!
I can 2 shot anything not in plate or bear form( soulfire FTW). Not to mention the new aoe stun i get along with the howl of terror, normal fear, DC. Its a good day to be a lock!!
Not to contradict myself some classes that never used to bother me in PVP are now a little more of a pain. Rogues with CoS and that resist thing they can do make life a little harder, the hunter silence shot isnt that bad. Just have to change your playstyle.. adapt and overcome : ) FTW

So that's the deal! Good to know. I shouldn't have ignored Sun Tzu's advice to "Know your enemy."
