The thing that annoys me when I am playing my shadow-specced priest and I run across furry, sorry fury warriors is... a lot of interrupts, stuns and big burst damage. Priesty's going to DoT the hell out of you, they're going to get Vampiric Embrace up if you let them. They are going to shield themselves whenever they can, if they have the mana.
The priest WILL fear you. Consider zerker stance/trinkets. Use spellalert or some kind of enemy castbar (x-perl's is lovely) so you know what you're about to be hit with, and can interrupt.. If you know a little bit about their abilities, you will know better how to handle them. Don't be shy about ham stringing them either, so they don't get a chance to move out of range.
I guess the best advice (though most annoying) is to roll one and learn how they work. I always find that it's easier to fight classes that I know from personal experience.
There is no magic bullet against shadow priests, they are well-rounded killers and a pain to kill if well-equipped and played by someone skilled. However, familiarity with how they work will not only give you a clue what they are doing and likely to do next (it's a game of "rock, paper, scissors"), but help you keep calm and focussed, which is half the battle. They are scary to fight, and if they have kicked your ass before, it gets even worse.
Of course, the major thing to steady your nerves is just experience. Try not to worry about getting beaten, and just fight them a lot, get used to the attack patterns, the rhythms and gambits. Practise makes perfect.
Oh, and engineering is good, if you need a few more ways to ruin someone's day..
Sorry to be so non-specific, but it's probably the best advice that I can give from an insider's perspective. There is no IWIN button- if the facemelter has skills, you're going to have to work for it.
That's where the sense of achievement comes from though, and is half the fun, right? :)

Moopy said a lot, but all it really comes down to is
-No, not if they have half a brain.
-Yes, if you get extremely extremely lucky.
The end.

Fear. Dot. MB. MF. Sheild when they get close to you. MB. MF. Fear if it cools down. MF.
It's hard for a warrior to over come this. It can be done. If a well equiped warrior stuns me and breaks through my sheild before the stun wears off I am usually screwed. Stance dance. Use trinkets. Do what you must to stay in range. Its the warriors I can't get away from that scare me.

You will actually have more trouble with a Disc. Spec priest. I think with the patch they are now one of the best for a dual. They now have pain suppression, improved shld., improved inner fire, improved Fort. plus they can heal. They will still dot you and mind blast you, its just not as strong. They basicly trade smite for mind flay and more power for more mana and staying power. Takes for ever to kill and while weaker than a shadow - still a force to be reckoned with.
Key to taking a priest down is do it quick and don’t let them get a heal off. Next to impossible against a Disc. Spec.
Not a ton of people roll disc. The best raid healers I know are Disc. Spec. more mana > bigger heals. Same is true for duals if you add durability in . More mana& durability >bigger nukes.

Actually, I have an epicced out t2 disc raid healer as well as my face melter, and I have to say, it's the worst of the three specs for PvP. Until you go above 60 and can afford some of the more exotic talents, disc priest is going to be one of the more fragile and low damage classes in the game. Holy specced priests are pretty nasty when well played. However, a facemelter in PvP gear is always going to be a right royal pain in the ass.

unfortunately warriors are one of the easier classes to beat as a shadow priest unless you have some pretty uber gear.
A well timed pummel, good use of beserker rage, lucky crits and maybe your pvp trinket are the ways to make it easier for you

Zerker stance etc/ makes it even WORSE. I remember getting over a 1k crit on a warrior (MB) in the 40 bracket because he was in zerker and had the zerking buff.
