seems that lately all i see on horde, side are alli premades in wsg and ab. Is it this way on Alli side also? To tell you the truth i wish they would do away with the join as a grp option, all together. AV is always alot funner because of this, even if you get the moron group on your side, its funner then getting zero honor just because you are out geared.

But you also have to figure it is a lot of fun for those people that are in the premade group. Being able to go into a BG (that could last hours) with a group of players you enjoy being with is quite enjoyable.
At level 60, I rarely play in anything but AV. But on my 19 twink, we do premades everyday for about 3 or 4 hours. I find it much more entertaining when the other team has a premade!

Premades are indeed more fun. I do think they try and match premades with other premades now though. You have longer queues on alliance side so you probably end up with more pugs that are forced to play premades but the majority of PuGs I'm in now are against other PuGs and the majority of games where I'm in a premade are against other premades. Try it... it's fun.

i think the word pre-made got raped since the patch at least.
Most of them "pre-mades" are actually PUGS and not even close to any good :p
A guild group with ventrilo and teamplay, that's fun! your standard PUG premade is even more frustrating than a random group

Well yeah but we just assume they are premade if they are all from the same server. Better to assume the best and get the worst than assume the worst and get steamrolled by being cocky. You can usually tell if they are a real premade by class balance and guild tags.

I haven't come across any pure premade groups in AB for quite some time. Although it is common enough to see maybe 5-8 people from the same server and guild making up a group on the opposition team.
And even when you've got that many people working well together, they can still tear apart an alliance pug!

I received 10 ab marks in one hour, because in that hour I was 5 capped 10 times in ab, all right at or under 5 minutes each.

I play mostly on the Horde side when it comes to PvP at the moment. However, when I do play on Alliance side, I don't see nearly as many pre-made groups.
Most of these pre-mades seem to be raiding groups and you have many more of them on the Alliance side.
Yes, between being unfair in some cases to Horde with a losing mentality, it isn't fun. I usually queue for AV and AB and go to AV when it looks like a pre-made. I used to stay and see how it went but all too often people just say let them win and they do nothing so you basically get overrun by the other side. It's not fun. On the other hand, I used to get more PUG groups that would actually try and we've beaten some of the pre-mades. People always assume that the pre-mades are good PvPers and they often aren't that great. Many seems to rely on gear instead of skill.
As far as I can tell, no, the system isn't matching up pre-made to pre-made. If it is then it hasn't affected how often you get Horde PUG vs Alliance pre-made. I do think the time of day may affect the percentage of PUG vs. pre-mades that you'll find.
