Does anyone know of a mod that is compatible with WoW 2.01 and will allow me to manipulate the action bars and buttons, much like Flexbar or Discord Action Bars?
Thanks

Try Bartender3. I believe they updated Discord recently.

Bartender3 is really not in the same league. As far as simply moving groups of bars around or making them more available, it's the best mod I've found, but (unless I'm just not paying enough attention) it doesn't allow you to script the buttons at all, which is what really sets Flexbar a step or eight above. Being able to do things like have bars appear or hide based on aggro status, or remap based on stance takes it to a whole new level.

Discord updated since patch? I heard a worrying rumour it was discontinued?
Discord is great, but can be buggy.

DAB is discontinued but DUB is being worked on. Which is basically all old Discord mods in one packet from what I understand. DART and DFM are ported to 2.0, but I dont think DAB is (if I missed it i'm gonna kill myself >.>)

A few people from the Flexbar forums (mostly cncfanatic now I believe, but could be wrong) are working on FlexBar2. It's a recode from the ground up, and is also using the WowAce2 framework. It is not yet finished as it doesn't even have slash commands as far as i know. Unfortunately the old Flexbar forums have vanished. How much functionality of the old Flexbar they will be able to port remains to be seen. But worth tracking probably. You can find the project in the WowAce SVN.

i only used DAB, and i found that trinity is a more or less ok-ish replacement till the new version comes out. i surely hope that they bring a new DAB version for BC...

I should have mentioned that I use Bongos since the patch. The Key Binding function is awesome, and very easy to use.
It doesn't have all the details of DAB which in some ways I miss, but it is simplicity itself to get up and running.

Being able to do things like have bars appear or hide based on aggro status,
Blizzard has diabled the ability to script bars like that, anyway. All that's really left is moving the bars around and mapping bars by stance - this functionality is provided by Bartender3..

I have used both bartender3 and bongos, and I find bongos to be much easier to use and much less buggy. I think bongos offers a little more flexibility in terms of setting up the bars, plus bartender3 eliminates the xp bar while bongos allows you to move and shape it. The profiles saving functionality never seemed to work for me in bartender3, either. Being able to load a previous profile from a different character saves loads of time when setting up a new character.

Actually Bartender lets you resize/hide/move the XP bar as you prefer.
