I just got 1gb RAM installed on my notebook and every time I play WoW now, WoW shuts down with a critical error saying that the memory cannot be read. So I took my Computer to Best Buy and they ran tests on it for 2 hours and said everything including the memory is working perfectly. Any advice as to what I should do. It lets me play for like 5 minutes, and its faster and crisper now than ever. But it wont stay on. Ive tried it like 7 times and it does it every time now. I have had WoW for about 2 years and have never had this problem. Some please help, any advice would be great! Thank you!

what are your other system specs?
Might be a case of bottlenecking in your GPU or Proc.

Im not sure what you mean exactly but here are the spec when I click on MY COmputers properties:
HP
AMD Athlon 64 Processor
3400+
640 MHZ, 1.24 GB RAM
Not sure where to find which Video card I use but I know its a good one. I asked the guys at Best Buy if a 1gb RAM would be overkill and too much for my computer and they said no. They said I had a very good computer.

Here is the exact message it gives me when it shuts down WoW:
This application has encountered a critical error:
Error #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\Program Files\ World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Exception: 0x80000001 (GUARD_PAGE) at 001B:0064644A

Try removing the additional memory and see if the it fixes the problem, this will tell you if the extra memory is causing the error or not. It may just be a coincidence that the error happened after installing the ram.
Also I see that the system has 1.24GB of ram so I assume that before the upgrade it had 256MB? Try removing the old memory (if possible) and just use the new memory.
Are you getting blue screens in windows or errors in other apps? If not then reinstalling wow may help.

Agreed. This error sounds like it's come from amatures mixing Ram sticks again. Individually they could be fine, but have issues with one another. Running them individually, only the new stick, or only the original, should solve the issue. If it doesn't we can rule out the most obvious cause of the memory issue.
