View Full Version : Mods broke my Action Bar

I have been looking for a good Action Bar mod that I like. Last night I tried the following:

Trinity
BarTender
FlexBar2
Fubar

FlexBar2 and Fubar both gave errors and would not work. I didn't like BarTender that much and Trinity is far too complex to figure out so I junked it, too. The problem is that I've deleted the folders for each of these add ons but now my default WoW action bar is broken. The numbers do not display anymore and when I'm out of range for a specific action there is a small red square instead of the red number...

Problem is that I tried all of these mods one after the other (none of them at the same time) in a short period of time so I'm not sure which one broke my action bar.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Closing and reopening the game does nothing.

Thanks for any help.

go into your WTF (....\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\"character name"\SavedVariables) and delete the save variables of thoses mods

as for a good and simple actions bar, try bongos http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4744

and for Fubar, its not an action bar mod.

I deleted the variable files for each of the addons in the following directories:

WoW\WTF\Account\<accountname>\SavedVariables
WoW\WTF\Account\<accountname>\<server>\<character>\SavedVariables

I did this for each server and each character. Still no beans. And still no numbers.

Thanks for the help.

Fixed: The Action Bar's key bindings had been removed by one of the add ons. Once I rebound the keys to 1, 2, ... etc everything was fine.

Thanks for the help.
