I have requests and Looking for Recommendations

I had a couple of really good mods that people have said they weren't going to update further. I was hoping someone could either take them over or someone could point me in the direction of a different mod that does the same thing. I am using Titan as a base for alot of the mods that I use. Is FuBar better? or some of the others?

Titan [Recommended Zone] - There are alot of newer players in the guild I am in (Ash ben de Korbet on Thrall) and this is an easy one to pass around to players that would help them find a zone to play in that was appropriate for thier level, it would also show instances and color code them by difficulty according to thier levels.

I am also looking for a really good quest tracking mod. I have never found one that I was particularly fond of, and since the new patch - I haven't found anything. Any recommendations?

I used to run a mod called GreaterPally - it wa a mod that would allow a script to be written for paladin buffs. It would bring up a GUI and you could select buffs for a class - then spam the macro and it would cast the appropriate buff on each person of your party from party member number 1 to party member number 5. It had some bugs, but I am hoping someone would pick it up and update it to the new patch and then it would be functioning. Or recommend something new that would greatly benefit the paladin.

Lastly, is there any guide to writing mods? Is there some software tool that helps? I am always looking for mods to do specfic things, and I wonder if it would be easier for me to just learn to write them myself. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Quest tracking? to tell you where the quest is?..if so i havent found a mod that does that. I use thottbot.com and if you have a map mod that shows you coordonates (i suggest Metamap (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=3331)) you can find the location of the quest because usually people give the coords on that site.



No, well, not really. I usually use allakhazam to find info on quests, but something in game that enhances the quest log. Either makes it more functionable, or can sort them by locations better, more useable.

Is there such a thing as a mod that will display on your map what people want to talk to you to give you quests? Like a quest finder? so when I hit a flightpath I could immediately see that 3-4 NPCs in vaiours locations would want to talk to me to give me a quest? Similar to tracking herbs or minerals, except with quests?
