My Combat Log dissappears regularly!
One fix I've found is this: I have Simple Combat Log (which may or may not be relevant) but for me, making a new window and titling it "Combat Log" basically puts the Combat Log back where it's supposed to be and I can then move it wherever I want it, the only caveat being that it also has all the 'normal' channels on it (guild/say/etc.) which have to be turned off. The irritating thing is that it dissappears usually once or twice a night! I'm not completely sure about what's causing it... would turning off the "auto-join guild reqruitement" option (as I've seen suggested elsewhere) help me? This problem is not related to Simple Combat Log, specifically, as I've had this problem since before getting that particular mod... Also, locking the Combat Log, once I have it where I want it, also does not help. It still dissappears from time to time. Very frustrating! :cry:
