XML frame visual creation tool?

UI Designer just isn't working for me. I've tried several times, and I just don't get it, or it just doesn't work for me.

Are there other options? Something visual? Can you create XML frames in Visual Studio? I've looked for tutorials, but all the ones I read through involve manual coding of the XML, and I'd rather construct my addon frames visually.

Hi hopperito. I suggest you try out learning XML manually since whatever XML frame designer you use will never ever give you the desired effect. To start with you should try looking into the XML files of some of your very simple addons.

Problem I have is where to locate the controls. Is there an easy way to measure out and know what coordinate data to code in? Trial and error through reloading the UI seems very time consuming. Also, I'd like to know what XML editor you like to use.
