Anyone else having trouble logging in? (Europe)

I have been trying to log on for 1hour and 10 minutes at the moment, as i waited until the maintenance had finished (10 am GMT). The servers are now back up and working except when i try to log in it will not direct me to the character screen!

I enter my details and then it takes around 2mins to authenticate them; 1.5 mins to handshake my details another minute to actually connect to the server and when all this time is wasted it simply Disconnects due to timeout (i think).

Anyone else having this same post - maintenance problem?

Yeah yeah yeah...there was a note up on this ... and it is fixed now. When the official site is down, it is a good sign they have server trouble...

the official forum is up for me but really really slow, guess a lotta people still hanging around there.

Nope - a whole bunch of European servers are still down (or were up for a couple of minutes but have been taken back down).

And on the server I play on (EU Nordrassil) - we've had this 3 weeks on the trot after maintenance. During the week we've also had many random server restarts, BG lag to end all lag ... and no blue post in sight to suggest why our server performance has dropped off so dramatically.

Damn this addiction, otherwise I would have cancelled my sub ages ago. :cry:

Sounds like the service that we got on ER for 10 days..random DCs and no playing between 19:00 and 22:00 due to crashed server.

Crazy uproar in realm forums and blues being really sluggish to say anything....guess they know of our addiction....
